My Experience:
I began my training at the University of Toronto Kendo Club in 1995 with Davison sensei and Raymond sensei, slowly gaining the rigorous mental and physical strength required to practice kendo. After obtaining Shodan, I practiced in various dojos in the Greater Toronto Area. I feel very privileged to have experienced so many different dojos and styles.

I joined Edmonton Kendo and Naginata Club in 2005. The following year, I began to serve as an assistant instructor and I continue to practice under Bozzer sensei to this date. It is a thrill to see many fellow students over the years and see them progress in kendo.

As many kendoka would attest, once you immerse yourself in kendo, it becomes part of your life – there is simply no better way to maintain a peaceful spirit and Zen-like focus than a good hard kendo practice. Moreover, the comradeire in kendo often extends beyond the dojo walls to various fun-filled activities outside. Over the years, I have met many fantastic people all over Canada who have become instant friends just because we practice kendo. I treasure these wonderful memories and hope to continue to grow in kendo for the rest of my life.
