7X9 SONGS: FIRST EVER CSR-ISR COLLABORATION PROJECT

The 7X9 Songs Project is an ongoing initiative under the banner of NOY BOCHORER BORO (I AM NINE PLUS) project-process, led by Enamul Karim Nirjhar. It is a unique collaboration between Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Intellectual Social Responsibility (ISR) principles, aiming to make a positive impact through music.The CSR-ISR process refers to the systematic approach of integrating Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practices of organizations with the principles and objectives of Intellectual Social Responsibility (ISR) at the individual level. This process involves various stages and activities aimed at fostering collaboration, implementing initiatives, and measuring the impact of joint CSR-ISR efforts.

The 7X9 Songs Project serves as a platform to express diverse perspectives and engage with the audience on important topics. The songs explore a wide range of themes, including social justice, human rights, environmental concerns, cultural heritage, and empowerment. Each song aims to provoke critical thinking and inspire meaningful conversations within society.

WHY 7X9 SONGS

The project focuses on the creation of original songs that address various social and cultural issues in Bangladesh. It brings together talented musicians, lyricists, composers, and vocalists to produce thought-provoking and socially relevant music. The name “7X9” represents the call of independence on March 7, 1971 by the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Number 9 represents the 9 month long struggle of our liberation war symbolizing the spirit of independence and the desire to bring about positive change.

The project follows a collaborative approach, involving renowned musicians as well as emerging talent. It seeks to foster inclusivity and provide opportunities for aspiring artists to showcase their skills and contribute to the cultural landscape of Bangladesh. By combining the power of music with social responsibility, the project aims to create a lasting impact and contribute to the development of a more enlightened and aware society.
