OUR PROCESS

We all have some goals in life. Similarly NOY BOCHORER BORO (I AM 9 PLUS) is one of our goals. Naturally, the question is for whom is this goal? If we say ‘Country’ and ‘Professionals’ then it will not be wrong at all. That is this ‘Process’ dream of working together with the professionals of the country who have self-esteem and self-reliance. For example, Enamul Karim Nirjhar is an architect. His job is to practice architecture. He has focused on this architectural practice step by step. Early on, he worked in publishing, graphic design, set design, photography, film, music and sometimes television programming. He came to this architectural practice at the end of various art practices. Our elders needed to be more idealistic and visionary in the role that needed to be played in the practice of mindfulness in our newly independent country. The lack of this vision has a huge impact on the next generation. As a result, we despair but do not try to find a way out of it. For this, we have taken some experimental initiatives. For example, we once had art galleries, theatre cafes and book fairs in middle-class neighbourhoods. We have faced some failures while doing several such things on our initiative and also saw some glimpses of possibilities. At one point, we thought, what if the joint efforts of various professionals of art and culture can make an organization? At one point, we thought, what if the joint efforts of various professionals of art and culture can make an institution where artists, architects, writers, illustrators, directors and publishers can work together? By doing this, an understanding of the inter-culturalism of various branches of art will be developed among them. There will also be a communication of who, where and how the people involved in the industry are working. With such an objective we are trying to progress the works of the “NOY BOCHORER BORO (I am 9 plus)” process step by step.

Now the question comes who will manage the process of “NOY BOCHORER BORO (I am 9 plus)”? The answer is that it will not be under the authority of any particular or single person. It will be conducted by a collective effort of a group of creative professionals in the country.

The experience of this combined process cannot be said to be very favourable in our country. Many organizations in our country started as NGOs but after some time they turned into business organizations. The whole thing shows no accountability. Everyone grabs money in their way. Coming out of this, we want to practice the profession transparently. For that, we have taken 08 initiatives. Each of these will be a separate entity. For example, in Architecture as Responsibility (AAR), we are working on a new dimension of architecture. On the contrary of common practice, we go to the client with architectural proposals and try to implement them. Many of its initiatives have been successful. The production of film and music is also in progress. We also have an initiative to make a hospital. It can be seen in our country, that everything that happens is done by the state, and otherwise, it is done from a business perspective. If we can build “AMADER HASPATAL” with ideal professionals, it will benefit the country and the people. A culture of serving especially those who are financially struggling will be created. This process can be a meeting point for those doing social development work through voluntary work across the country. So for this purpose, our main task now is to carry out the process in a much-planned manner at a modest cost and to find suitable people for this process.
