SOCIAL INITIATIVES

The lack of idealism and visionary leadership among our elders regarding mindfulness in our newly independent country has had a significant impact on the younger generation. This has led to feelings of despair without actively seeking solutions. In response, we have undertaken experimental initiatives to address this issue. For instance, we have organized art galleries, theatre cafes, and book fairs in middle-class neighborhoods. While we encountered some failures, we also witnessed glimpses of potential. It sparked the idea of forming an organization where professionals from various artistic and cultural fields, such as artists, architects, writers, illustrators, directors, and publishers, could collaborate. This would foster an understanding of interculturalism among different branches of art and provide a platform for communication on the work and practices within the industry. Thus, we are gradually progressing the efforts of the NOY BOCHORER BORO (I AM 9 PLUS) initiative.

Now, the question arises: who will manage the process of NOY BOCHORER BORO? The answer lies in a collective effort by a group of creative professionals in the country. We aim to move away from the unfavorable experiences of many organizations in our country that began as NGOs but eventually transformed into profit-oriented ventures. This lack of accountability and money-driven approach is not our intention. We strive to practice our professions transparently and have undertaken eight separate initiatives to achieve this goal. For example, in Architecture as Responsibility (AAR), we explore new dimensions of architecture by presenting architectural proposals to clients and actively working towards their implementation. Several successful initiatives have emerged from this approach. We are also engaged in film and music production, as well as an initiative to establish a hospital.

In our country, most endeavors are either solely undertaken by the state or approached from a business perspective. By building AMADER HASPATAL with dedicated professionals, we aim to benefit the country and its people. This initiative will foster a culture of service, particularly for those facing financial struggles. Moreover, it can serve as a meeting point for individuals engaged in social development work through voluntary efforts across the country. Therefore, our primary task now is to carry out the process in a well-planned manner, keeping costs modest, and identifying suitable individuals to contribute to this endeavor.
