WHAT IS CSR-ISR PROCESS

WHAT IS CSR – ISR PROCESS?

The CSR-ISR process refers to the systematic approach of integrating Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practices of organizations with the principles and objectives of Intellectual Social Responsibility (ISR) at the individual level. This process involves various stages and activities aimed at fostering collaboration, implementing initiatives, and measuring the impact of joint CSR-ISR efforts.

The CSR-ISR process is iterative and continuous, with organizations and individuals constantly seeking new opportunities, addressing emerging social issues, and refining their approach to maximize social impact through intellectual and creative investment.

IS IT A NEW INITIATIVE?

The collaboration between Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Intellectual Social Responsibility (ISR) is an innovative approach that has gained attention in recent years. While CSR has been a well-established concept for several decades, the integration of CSR and ISR is a relatively new initiative.

Traditional CSR practices have primarily focused on the responsibilities of organizations towards society, encompassing areas such as environmental sustainability, philanthropy, and ethical business practices. However, the concept of ISR expands the notion of social responsibility to include the intellectual and socio-cultural responsibilities of individuals.

The idea of integrating CSR and ISR, as advocated by Enamul Karim Nirjhar and implemented through initiatives like the NOY BOCHORER BORO (I AM NINE PLUS) project-process is a unique and forward-thinking approach. This collaboration aims to leverage the resources and activities of organizations through CSR while encouraging individuals to contribute their intellectual and creative abilities through ISR.
