Why 9 Albums?

From a young age, a plan was working in me, whether it is possible to build a joint organization by bringing together all the creative professionals and independent free-thinking people of Bangladesh as a whole. That’s why I tried to participate in different professions in one way or another to gain experience and know the people of this field. At one stage, I saw that painting, photography, film, architecture, business, restaurant, magazine, publication, television show… I have walked many paths. While working, seeing people from these different fields gives me a different kind of feeling. And I noticed one thing, those who are not yet famous, while working, they have to suffer in many ways disrespect and neglect. Due to changes in technology and various reasons, when people got used to listening to music for free, I felt a sense of responsibility towards the future of artists, crews and people involved in music. And that’s the reason why people get involved without being a music person. I tried to keep a part of my talent in the main professional work so that I could be by their side intellectually. It was from this urge that after making the first film ‘Aha!’, working with my dear friend Devjyoti Mishra, I got a different energy out of nowhere and started writing and composing songs myself. I am trying to set up a process to make this creative investment or intellectual practice of my songwriting and music a place for people of music to stand through ISR and CSR. If a large number of songs can be produced in this process, a self-sustainable organization will be developed with the collective participation of artists using its financial incentives. Ek Nijhar’s song is a process, this camp of basic song making called Ganshala will become a place for everyone to stand together.
